I have had an up and down journey with it some good times some bad times…
It is scary because it affects you mentally; you don’t know where you’re going with it.
I got into maintenance, but I wasn’t feeling good. The next thing I knew, I was diagnosed with diabetes. That was just another thing to add to the list.
A lot of doctors don’t know about iron overload, unfortunately.
I got involved with the charity; it’s good to know there’s people to talk to.
